The Essence of Lemon, Herbs, and Writing

Beginner writers, experienced writers, beginner bakers, experienced bakers.

This 90-minute workshop will cover how to make delicious lemon tea bread using three different sources of lemon flavor with tastings of the freshly made bread. Also, participants will learn how to write a poem using the black-out or block-out technique from a recipe or magazine article. Each participant will receive button journal to encourage writing and take home a mini loaf lemon tree bread.

5-minutes - introduction and explanation of workshop goals. 10-minutes - demo culinary techniques using microplane zester, juicer, and the use of scissors for cutting herbs. 10-minutes - preparation of bread and put into oven.
