About the event

After invaluable service to The Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow as Executive Director, Michelle Hannon is retiring. Hannon has served WCDH for three years, bringing The Colony to a place of self-sustainability and getting the organization through the complications of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Board of Directors would like to invite the community to visit The Writers’ Colony at 515 Spring Street on Friday, July 29, from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm to thank Hannon for her service, give her your well wishes, and meet the new Executive Director, Tara Cloud Clark. Hannon has asked that in lieu of gifts, contributions be made to WCDH Scholarship Fund. Hannon says, “It is so important to me and the vision of The Colony that the Scholarship Fund provides emerging writers and writers from marginalized backgrounds an opportunity to benefit from the uninterrupted, focused writing time The Colony provides.”
