About the event
Gotahold Brewing has chosen the Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow (WCDH) as their #TipsforTransformation benefactor during the month of April, National Poetry Month. Poetry Happy Hours will be held at 5:30 pm every Thursday in April in the beer garden at Gotahold. The events will benefit the WCDH scholarship fund and celebrate the beauty and art of poetry. On Thursday, April 1, at 5:30 pm Caryn Mirriam-Goldberg will inspire the audience with examples of her published work and get the audience involved with her improvised poetry.
Caryn Mirriam-Goldberg, Ph.D.,the 2009-13Kansas Poet Laureate, is the author of 24 books, including , released in October 2020; , a novel; a non-fiction book on the Holocaust; and a bioregional memoir on cancer and community.
