The Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow (WCDH) will present our September Poetluck at 515 Spring Street, on September 21st.
WCDH is proud to bring Tim Caldwell to Poetluck for the first time.
We are delighted to invite you to attend Poetluck, an open mic style poetry reading event at The Writers' Colony at Dairy Hollow (WCDH). Poetluck provides a supportive and inclusive space for writers to share their work and connect with fellow literary enthusiasts in the community. We welcome writers of all genres and experience levels to join us and share their poems, stories, and essays with our audience. The evening starts with a potluck meal at 6:00 PM, bring a dish to share or not, there is always enough. The open mic style readings start at 6:30 PM.
This month we feature Tim Caldwel diarist, a playwright, essayist,and short story writer. A sixth generation Californian, he fell in love with the Ozarks, and now lived in Springfield, Missouri. He ho lds degrees in Art, Theatre, and Teaching... which led to work as a restaurateur, caterer, artist, designer, actor, stage director, and educator. He is a Special Education teacher and the adoptive father of six kids. He shares his life with his husband and their dogs, cats, chickens, and fish. He loves to write, garden, paint, sing, cook, travel, and take naps whenever possible.
