About the event

To create a personalized book to record our experiences in nature.

In this workshop, we will complete a very basic book arts project. We promise you don’t need any previous book arts experience to do this! We will also take a short walk during which we will read some poems about nature and write a bit ourselves. No previous poetry experience is required, but good walking shoes are a plus!

Traci Brimhall is the author of five collections of poetry. Her poems have been published in The New Yorker, Poetry, Ploughshares, the New Republic, and elsewhere.  She is the poet laureate of Kansas.
