About the event
We invite you to our March 13th Poetluck event starting at 6:00 PM with a potluck.
We are delighted to invite you to read at Poetluck, an open mic style poetry reading event that takes place at The Writers' Colony at Dairy Hollow (WCDH). Poetluck provides a supportive and inclusive space for writers to share their work and connect with fellow literary enthusiasts in the community. We welcome writers of all genres and experience levels to join us and share their poems, stories, and essays with our audience.
Our Feature this month is Ken Hada.
Ken Hada lives and writes in rural Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma. He finds
inspiration from the Natural world, both at home and in his travels. Author of eleven
collections of poetry, his latest book is Come Before Winter (Turning Plow Press, 2023).
His previous collection, Contour Feathers (Turning Plow Press, 2021) received the
Oklahoma Book Award. Other works of his have been awarded by The Western Writers
of America, The National Western Heritage Museum, South Central Modern Language
Association and The Oklahoma Center for the Book. Four of his poems have been
