
The American Egg Board Fellowship for the Creative Use of Eggs in Cooking and/or Baking

The Prize
A one-month, all-expense paid (excluding travel) fellowship at the Writers' Colony at Dairy Hollow, Eureka Springs, Arkansas, is awarded annually to a culinary writer of demonstrated ability whose work involves the creative use of eggs in cooking and/or baking.
The Fellowship
American Egg Board (AEB) represents The incredible edible egg on behalf of egg producers throughout the continental United States. Established through a commodity marketing order, AEB is charged with conducting egg research, education, advertising and promotion programs.
AEB is overseen by a Board of egg producers and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and AEB programs are conducted for all U.S. citizens. AEB programs address consumers of all ages and all education and income levels and cover the composition, natural nutrition, functional properties, versatility, convenience and economy of eggs as well as preparation and food safety instructions. Applications
Applications must be received by October 15, 2006. Applicants will be notified of their application status no later than December 15, 2006. Fellows may take their residency in the month of their choosing, within the 12 months following their selection .
